The Brand

Founded by leading hair colourist Shaun P in London in 2007, Tangle Teezer began life as an idea in a salon and has grown to become a global business that has sold over 50 million hairbrushes worldwide.

Born from 30 years spent working in top salons and looking for a quick and easy way to detangle knots without tugging and pulling, Shaun had his ‘lightbulb’ moment in 2003.

The Challenge

The business needed to transition from Shopware to an ecommerce platform more suited to their brand and growth aspirations, especially in international Direct to Consumer online retail.

The client had a top tier partner in place (Velstar) for migration and web build, but had an outgoing ecommerce lead and required comprehensive site build stewardship, as well as general ecommerce trading and growth support.
