The Brand

Drake’s was founded by Michael Drake in East London in 1977, a short walk from the city’s silk weaving roots in Spitalfields. Originally a maker of men’s ‘Scarves, Shawls and Plaids,’ the company soon expanded into handmade ties and handkerchiefs, its designs gaining a reputation for quality amongst the high-end boutiques and department stores of Paris, Milan, Tokyo and New York.

The Challenge

The business was looking for a way forward away from Magento and into a more operationally friendly and accessible tech stack. There was a high technical doubt that it was not integrated well or was not being used to its full potential. One further consideration was the consolidation of global storefronts into a more operationally friendly solution. The client needed support with vendor selection, team hiring and ongoing growth support and stewardship.
