Case Study: NICCE
A blend of strategy, management and growth services, delivering both YoY growth as well as a successful exit.
THE BRAND
Established in 2013, NICCE is a UK-based streetwear brand inspired by the electronic music scene and club culture of Ibiza. Stocked globally through a network of fashion retailers, NICCE has successfully broadened its neighbourhood cult brand appeal to reach a hungry international audiences.
THE CHALLENGE
NICCE had established a strong profile with - and reliance on - wholesale with a burgeoning D2C arm. This led to growth challenges post-pandemic, and the company needed strategic support and ecommerce management to help overcome the short term growth problems. NICCE was also targeting an acquisition and need to go through an aggressive period of growth to enable this.
OUR SOLUTION
Heur deeply integrated into NICCE's business, becoming part of their leadership and growth team to better understand their growth and operational needs. An end-to-end audit of the ecommerce and digital marketing function allowed the Heur team to build an informed 30 / 60 / 90 day plan for growth to take NICCE through peak trade.
Our immediate actions were focused on optimising trade and reducing inventory to allow for a lean warehouse move post-peak trade. Once the business had been stabilised and revenue increased, the Heur team worked with the NICCE management to enable an acquisition of the business, supporting the successful sale with mentorship, data, forecasting and growth frameworks.
